Style guru Nicky Hambleton-Jones gives a group of style challenged people the opportunity to roll back the years in this hit makeover show.
The causes of premature aging are varied and many – too much time in the sun, nicotine addiction and extreme weight loss are just a few. But Nicky and her team of specialists, including hair consultant Andrew Barton and cosmetic surgeon Jan Stanek, aim to work wonders with their subjects.
Each person featured on the show is taken onto the streets to find out their perceived age from members of the public before being whisked away for a series of treatments, including chemical peels, dental veneers and hair colouring. Nicky then oversees the transformation of her subject’s wardrobes, taking them from fuddy-duddy to fabulous before sending them back out onto the streets to see how much their perceived age has dropped.
The results are always astonishing.
