Hidden Potential Series 2

Episode 1

Going through a divorce, Michelle Bianchi wants to make a smooth transition and have a fresh start her kids. She also works from home so she absolutely needs to have office space. Host Brandie Malay and architect/designer Barry Wood show Michelle three houses and then Barry reveals a design plan for each house that is customized for the family's need.

Episode 2

Daniel and Kimberly are newlyweds living in Daniel’s former bachelor pad - "his place." The Madara’s are looking for a place in the suburbs of New Jersey that they can call "theirs." In addition, Daniel’s commute to work is 70 miles, and with a family on the horizon, he wants home to be closer to work.

Episode 3

Jonathan Sarro and Gwen Mancuso live in their dream home, unfortunately, it is in a poor school district and they want to give their 9 month old son Christian the best education. Hidden Potential locates three houses under their budget and design expert Paige Rien uses 3D animations to show them what they can do with that balance to make each house fit their needs.

Episode 4

Jackie and Jose met 11 years ago on a NYC subway and have been together ever since. With their 17 month old addition, Jaylene, they are busting out of their one-bedroom apartment in the Bronx. They are looking for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with backyard space in Middlesex, New Jersey.

Episode 5

Zuzel and Steven Oriol love living in Manhattan but they need to get out of their studio loft. It was barely big enough for the two of them, but now with little baby Zia and Max the dog, the time has come to move on. As much as they love the city, they are finally ready to take the plunge out to the suburbs of White Plains, NY where they can watch Zia learn how to ride her bike and let Max be a dog.

Episode 6

Abbie and Brian Kileen are two artists who share a cramped apartment in Park Slope, Brooklyn. They both need they need to get out of the city to find the place that they need to grow as artists, but they’re afraid of giving up their urban sensibilities. Hidden Potential will show them 3 houses in suburban New Jersey and Designer Paige Rien will show them how to make a cool artists loft in a regular old suburban house.

Episode 7

Ted Poulos and Alina Pages are getting married in June. Before they get married, they would like to buy a home that can serve as the foundation for their new lives together. Ted would like a room where he can play saxophone and where Alina, a Spanish teacher, can tutor. They would like to stay in the Rockland County vicinity, but are looking to move to New City, Suffern, or Stony Point because of the better school districts there.

Episode 8

Chris Roach is a deadly combination – he’s HUGE and funny! Chris is a stand-up comedian but he and his wife Diane don’t think there’s anything funny about his long late night commute from New York City’s comedy clubs to their Lake Ronkonkoma home. Chris used to think of Jersey as a punch line, but now, he sees it as the way to better living.

Episode 9

Raymond and Emily Blaile met seven years ago in Indiana. Since then they have moved from Indianapolis to Richmond, Virginia and back only to have to relocate again to Long Island, New York. They’ve wanted to put down roots for a long time but had not stayed in a town long enough to buy a home. Ideally, they would love to stay by the water, but outdoor space comparable to what they have now is more important.

Episode 10

Tom (and Maria Keener bought the condo they live in a few years ago and transformed it into a place they loved. However, with their two kids growing up, their place is just too small. Both Tom and Maria work mainly from home and their current place does not offer the privacy necessary to get work done. In an interesting twist, they are willing to have a tenant or two to generate rental income to offset their mortgage.

Episode 11

Ed and Sharon Tepper are currently living in Madison, NJ in a 3 bedroom apartment which they share with Ed’s two kids, Dean and Jordan. Recently married, they quickly came to the conclusion that with both of their homes put together under one roof, they simply have too much clutter and not enough space. They want to start their new lives together in a place that can accommodate them and the children, as well as somewhere they both choose together.

Episode 12

Matt and Jennifer Bricker have lived in four different places, all over the country, in the past five years due to Matt’s service with the Navy. Now that his job in New York seems more permanent, they would like to settle down and purchase their first home. In addition, Matt would like a garage and Jennifer would like a Jacuzzi tub in their master bathroom.

Episode 13

Anoop (29) Shah has been living in his mother’s house, more or less, since the day he was born. After marrying Kavita (26), they came to the conclusion that it was time for them to move out from his mother’s basement and into a place they can spread their own roots.
