Celebrity chef Gary Rhodes’ latest adventure is a journey of culinary discovery in exotic India. It is his first time in the country and he is starting from scratch, finding out about India’s diverse flavours and cooking styles, and using ingredients and techniques he has never experienced before.
Assisting Gary are three hand-picked young sous-chef apprentices, each chosen for their passion for food and connections to India. With the help of mentors, their mission is to find the best of authentic Indian cuisine, learn how to cook it, and then return to the UK to cater for a major banquet to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Independence.
